I was one of the two organizers of a Wikipedians in Special Residence project, cooperating with 12 special libraries in the Netherlands (WSWB, amongst 10 others the EYE film institute and the Rijksmuseum) from 2013 to 2015. Some results can be found here.
I never received any personal compensation (financial or otherwise) for contributions I made to Wikipedia.
